About the Role

​

As a Logistics Coordinator at Denali Foods, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods within our supply chain, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in perfect condition. You will play a key role in optimizing logistics processes, building strong relationships with shipping partners, and solving any issues that arise along the way. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will directly contribute to our ability to meet customer demands and uphold our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

 

🔹 Logistics & Shipment Coordination

• Oversee the movement of goods within our network, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.

• Ensure timely deliveries of products to meet customer deadlines and expectations.

• Develop and manage shipping schedules, ensuring that inventory is delivered in a cost-efficient manner.

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date order fulfillment.

🔹 Shipping Partner Coordination

• Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party shipping partners, ensuring they meet delivery requirements and timelines.

• Collaborate with vendors and carriers to resolve any shipping delays or issues quickly and effectively.

• Negotiate shipping rates and terms with logistics partners to ensure cost-efficiency and reliability.

🔹 Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement

• Troubleshoot logistics issues and implement solutions that improve efficiency, reduce delays, and enhance service delivery.

• Suggest and implement process improvements within logistics operations to increase productivity.

• Monitor and report on shipping performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.

What We’re Looking For

​

✅ Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or a similar role.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience handling complex logistics challenges.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

• Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.

• Familiarity with shipping regulations, including international shipping protocols (if applicable).

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

✅ Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work both in-office and remotely, with the option for a hybrid work schedule.

• Comfortable using communication tools like email, video conferencing, and project management software.

• Willingness to work flexible hours when needed to meet deadlines or resolve urgent logistics issues.
