About the Role

As a Sales Representative at Denali Foods, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base, strengthening client relationships, and driving sales growth. Your focus will be on engaging with retailers, restaurants, and food service providers, helping them discover the benefits of our high-quality products.

This position is ideal for someone with strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the food industry. If you love building relationships, negotiating deals, and closing sales, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and target new retail and restaurant clients within the USA and Canada.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and meet sales targets.

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of leads and actively pursue new business opportunities.

🔹 Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers by understanding their needs.

  • Provide personalized solutions to clients and ensure they receive top-notch service.

  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

🔹 Market & Product Knowledge

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.

  • Educate clients on the benefits and quality of our products to position Denali Foods as their preferred supplier.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer support.

🔹 Negotiation & Closing Deals

  • Present proposals and negotiate pricing to secure long-term partnerships.

  • Handle contract agreements, payment terms, and sales documentation.

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas through proactive engagement and follow-ups.

What We’re Looking For

 

✅ Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years of sales experience in the food distribution, wholesale, or related industry.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients.

  • Knowledge of meat, grains, and specialty food products is an asset.

  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales tracking tools.

✅ Work Environment & Requirements

  • Hybrid work setup – must be able to work both remotely and from our Montréal office.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, trade shows, and business events.

  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and capable of working independently.
