About the Role

​

As a Warehouse Supervisor at Denali Foods, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inventory management, and upholding quality and safety standards. You will play a critical leadership role in keeping our supply chain efficient and effective while managing a team of warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities

​

🔹 Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

• Oversee daily receiving, storage, and distribution of products to ensure timely and efficient operations.

• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and prevent shortages or overstocking.

• Implement warehouse best practices to improve workflow and reduce errors.

🔹 Team Leadership & Supervision

• Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback.

• Develop and enforce operational policies and safety procedures.

• Ensure high team productivity while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

🔹 Quality Control & Safety Compliance

• Uphold Denali Foods’ strict quality assurance standards, ensuring that all products are stored and handled properly.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food industry regulations.

• Conduct regular warehouse inspections and equipment maintenance to promote a safe working environment.

 

🔹 Logistics Coordination

• Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and transportation teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

• Coordinate warehouse shipping and receiving schedules to meet customer demands.

What We’re Looking For

​

✅ Experience & Skills

​

• Minimum 3+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience (preferably in the food distribution industry).

• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring operational efficiency.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office is an asset.

• Forklift certification or knowledge of warehouse equipment operations is a plus.

✅ Work Environment & Physical Requirements

​

• Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads as needed.

• Comfortable working in warehouse conditions (temperature-controlled environments, standing for extended periods, etc.).

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential weekends or overtime when needed.
